Martin Lewis

MARTIN LEWIS
Starting at age seven, Martin appeared in numerous commercials and TV
series. He was cast in Five Mile Creek for Disney TV and for this was
awarded Best Youth in a Film in Los Angeles. At 19, Martin gained a diploma
at the Australian Ballet School and was accepted into The Australian Ballet
Company. He performed with the Company for three years and then moved to the
Sydney Dance Company for a further three years. During this time he toured
extensively throughout the world including two Asian tours, New York,
Washington, Los Angeles, Paris and regional France, Colombia and Venezuela.
Martin has also toured all the capital cities of Australia a number of times
and been a guest with West Australian Ballet and Queensland Ballet.
Appearing in the Sydney production of West Side Story as Gee-Tar he also
understudied the roles of Action and Chino, performing the latter for the
closing week of the season.
