Based on Louis L'Amour's book of the same title, the film was set at
the Cherokee Station, in the heart of the Colorado wilderness

- Starring: Cindy Pickett, Mary Larkin, Timothy Scott, David
Hayward, Victor French, Tina Yothers, Tommy Petersen, Buck Taylor, and
Murray McMurry.
Produced by Douglas Netter for the Walt Disney Saturday night anthology
show on CBS. Henry Crawford developed the idea of placing its two heroines in
Australia and continuing their adventures there. The Disney Channel
agreed and Douglas Netter joined Crawford as executive producer of the
Five Mile Creek series.
