A hot (air) campaign begins
The Five Milers pioneer a new frontier -- politics! -- in "A Lot of Hot
Air," beginning July 3. When Jack Taylor (Rod Mullinar) launches his
campaign for mayor from his platform of a hot-air balloon, Charlie Withers
(Peter Carroll) decides to give him some down-to-earth competition.
Then "One Fine Day," premiering July 17, quickly becomes a nightmare when
bank robbers hold Kate (Liz Burch), Maggie (Louise Caire Clark) and a badly
wounded Withers hostage! Get ready for even more surprises in next month's
episode, when "Five Mile Creek" draws to a close.
